Updates 6-5-10

**The game now uses FMOD sound system
**now has roughly 30 some odd levels
**Fixed 90% of all glitches
**Fixed all level designs, polished gameplay as well.
**Can't Quit function enabled.
**New Auxillary sounds
**Enhanced skinning objects, ie: Custom Starman music, coins, bricks,enemies...etc

Castle flag and Fireworks!

Now, whenever you finish a level...if you finish in a certain time, you'll be rewarded with fireworks that give you 1000pts. each! I thought this would be a good addition, thanks to DeeY for the help!

Introducing Boomerang Mario!

This original creation was programmed and sprited by Saturn! In this suit you sport an authentic aussie hat and weild a boomerang! The boomerang can be thrown forward or upwards, leaving more room for accuracy! Also, Saturn has re-vamped the old Super Thwomp sprites!! Thanks Saturn! Saturn is also in charge of World 5. So Now we have GoombaDave heading World 2 and 3, Saturn heading World 5, Camdenbulat at World 6, and BuzzNBen at World 9! Busy, busy busy...whew!

New Stuff! and Minor updates.

Well, as you can plainly see, the layout has changed! Also, a site visitor counter has been added to the bottom of the page. Saturn has given me info that the boomerang Mario is in fact finished and waiting for merger, Boomerang Mario sports custom sprites as well! Also, Camden is hard at work to bring us levels for world 6, he is also working on a fangame thus not so much updates. BuzzNBen is working on a few levels and a world 9 mapscreen. Today, the screenshots from Saturn should be up! his site is...

Also, some new levels have been added to world 3. I encourage all of you to check the level progress page in the levels section. This houses everyones progress and future projects for the designers. If you are viewing this and you are interested in designing levels or programming new things send me an E-mail. The game was created in Game Maker 8.0 PRO.

Updates 3-28-10

Alright heres the updates log!:
**Ace coins replaced by "Star Coins"(nsmb).
**If all star coins are collected by levels end, you obtain a 1-up.
**2-3,2 and 3 are all done and finished.
**Camdenbulat is now a level designer!!
**World 1 is entirely done and no other revisions will be made.
**New pictures are being uploaded to the site for all to see
**The videos section has been updated as well.

RE-TOOLING

You might have noticed that, lately there have been no updates to my page. Well this was due to some Computer issues. But, you might be glad to know that I am starting to re-tool the game's graphics and music choices. Believe me folks, its for the better!

2-2: Scavenger Hunt and "Koopa Chronicles"

Well, Level 2-2 is finished and a new feature of the game has been added to the "TO-DO list". This new addition is called "Koopa Chronicles". These levels are the journal entries of a downed Koopa squad sent out by Bowser to investigate the mysterious BOO sightings. These levels will sport a spooky feel and even spookier music!!

Level 2-2 almost done!!

Fixing the final bugs and levelname! It's based off a HELLO design, but with new enemies and the premise is different! In this level you are trying to collect the treasures and put them in the chest. Once in the chest, you recieve a reward!!

Scavenger Hunt levels!!

I have devised a new idea! Scavenger Hunt levels! In these levels you collect 5 key items. Once collected you put them in the "Item Basket". Once all are in the basket a prize appears! Level 2-2 will sport this new idea!

Minor Bug-fix...

I fixed the mapscreen music bug. Apparently, the music kept looping while the mapscreen mario was spinning back to the last completed level. That bug is now fixed!

Tweaks?!

Well folks, i've decided...I think the engine is pretty much set. This means that I will be focusing more on level design and coding new enemies. So...anyone want a cool level designed? I will put it in the game if the design is any good. email me at [email protected]!!

Updates 2-17-10

Word 2-S: Chai

I have made a HUGE re-make of the CHAI levels from Super Mario Land (GB). There all in 16-bit, and all smushed into one giant level!!

Messagebox tweaks!

The messagebox has had a major overhaul! Now the messagebox uses sprites for the font. The messagebox no longer pauses the game, instead it shifts from the top to the bottom of the screen. This makes it to where Mario can freely move and read the message!

FLYING LIMIT!!!

I have added a flying limit for those flying powerups. Its exactly like the one from smb3. So, you can't cheat anymore!! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

**You can throw frozen enemies(NSMB Wii)
**Infinite veggie plants added
**Veggie blocks added..need new sprites...somebody?!?!
**World 2-1 = 100% very short level
**World 2-Pyramid = 40% got most ideas from SM64
**World 1 = 100%

World 1-Airship

This airship is actually a mixture of three airships from SMB3. This airship can be dicey, so just time your jumps correctly and you'll live. At the end of this Airship you battle with Lemmy. When you finish you can open up the Warp cannon!
